A newly-transformed Malborough bistro has reopened under new ownership.

Churchills Bistro, part of the Lodge Hotel, offers superb food and drink at very reasonable prices.

The menu incorporates a high percentage of locally sourced produce, including Cornish and Devon cheeses, line-caught bass from Salcombe, South Hams local livestock and vegetables and herbs from local organic suppliers.

There’s plenty of fresh fish on the menu, but if you’d like to enjoy fresh lobster from Hope Cove or oysters from Bigbury Bay the owners are very happy to arrange these culinary delights for you.

The bistro can also arrange special set menus for large parties tailored to suit individual gastronomic and financial constraints. This option is available from Monday to Thursday for both lunchtime and evening meals.

A Landrover is available for pick up and drop off of large parties, details are available on request.

A traditional roast dinner along with an abridged version of the evening menu is served on Sunday lunchtimes. This provides a great opportunity to sample the culinary delights of Churchills Bistro for a set price of £12.95 for 2 courses and £14.95 for 3 courses.
