High jinks and only semi-serious sport were on the menu where the priority was to have fun and raise lots of money for local charities.
The lively programme of entertainment included activities for both the young and the young at heart.
The event kicked off with live music by Opium and from then on the weekend provided plenty of family fun.
Saturday's events included a treasure hunt, coastguard demonstration swimming races, crazy sports, folk dancing, and a thrilling firework display.
The action did not stop on Sunday when activities included a fishing competition, the jogger's race, churn race, tug of war and the traditional open-air non-denominational religious service.
Fancy dress, sailng races and the ever popular family sandcastle competition took place on the final day.
