The traditional Bank Holiday event has the same aims as usual with an emphasis on having fun and raising lots of money for local causes.
The lively programme of entertainment includes activities for both the young and the young at heart.
The four-day event kicks off on August 26 with live music in Opium outside the Hope and Anchor pub.
Saturday's events include a treasure hunt, swimming races, crazy sports, folk dancing, the ever popular family sandcastle competition and a thrilling firework display.
Sunday's activities include fishing competitions, the jogger's race, tug of war, churn racing and the traditional open-air non-denominational religious service.
Fancy dress, a raft race, children's sandcastle competition and a magic show with Billy Whizz are scheduled to take place on the final day.
Thousands of pounds have been raised during the event and the money will be used to help boost local clubs and organisations. Last year over £4,750 was amassed and distributed among 25 charities and organisations.
