Hope & Anchor Inn

Situated just yards from the sea and teeming with maritime atmosphere, our friendly inn caters for all.
Our large inn is set in the popular and unique old fishing village of Hope Cove on the South Hams coast.
The village is popular with summer visitors but importantly still retains a good sense of community. The Hope and Anchor is the hub of the village and maintains that vital balance, serving both our visiting guests and our resident population.
You can choose from an excellent range of accommodation, the majority of which faces the breath-taking Bigbury Bay. What could be better than bed and breakfast in our famous inn?
All rooms have shower/bath ensuite, televisions and courtesy trays. Most of our rooms have beautiful sea views.
Totally unwind on your holiday and take in the ambience and congenial atmosphere we offer. Dining on Westcountry seafood specialities as the sun sets across Bigbury Bay can be the highlight of your holiday.
There is a lovely area outside with tables and umbrellas so you can enjoy the atmosphere of Hope Cove while enjoying lunch or an evening meal.
