Dairyman's Corner & Shepherd's Rest

Dairyman's Corner & Shepherd's Rest are traditional cob and stone cottages offering the best in self-catering accommodation.
Dairyman's Corner is a three bedroom cottage with double, twin and single bedrooms whilst Shepherds Rest is a two bedroom cottage offering one double and one twin bedded rooms.
Duvets, pillows and all bed lined are supplied as are cots and a highchair. Both cottages have kitchen-diners fotted with electric cookers, microwave, fridge/freezer, automatic washing machine, tumble dryer and many other appliances.
The bathrooms also have modern fittings as well as heaters and heated towel rails. Towels are supplied.
The cottages both have colour television and video and are heated by night storage heaters but for a really cosy evening each lounge has a beautiful stone built fireplace and logs may be ordered from the farm.
Outside, the large garden has lots of space for children to play in safety and for parents to enjoy the peace and relaxation of the surrounding countryside - garden furniture is available.
The cottages are available from 3.30 p.m. on the day of arrival until 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure. Provisions can be arranged for your arrival provided a list of requirements is recieved at least a week in advance.
Electricity is charged by meter reading.
The cottages are part of the family run Burton Farm with a dairy herd and two flocks of pedigree sheep.
Guests are welcome to look around the farm and to try their hands at farm activities under supervision.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead around the farm.
A deposit of 25% secures a booking, the balance payable on the day of departure.
